Yummy new Paper Inklings goodies

Just had a little play so far, and am loving this layout:

Using Paper Inklings Chipboard title "Sisterly Love"; Colour-Me Doily; Patterned paper Family PI-FM-296 "Brother"; Chipboard accent; Designer Rub-Ons PI-RO-307 "Brother"; Paint

See - once again not only for the "brothers" out there, but also great for the sisters as well.  Love how you can  mix and match the products and they look good together.

Loving a good sketch

Sometimes when there are no ideas flowing, a good sketch is all you need!  And with so many available out there (who knew?  Thanks Chat with Charm!!), there is usually one to suit the photos you have.

This one is another one for Sketchy Thursday's, and let me say - I think I have a new favourite layout!

And this one is for Crafty Sketches, an older photo of Kiara but I still love it - it is just "so her".

Once upon a sketch

Here is my entry for the new sketch blog Once upon a...sketch.

One of the criteria for this one was handwritten journalling.  Ugh.  That's all I have to say about that!

And another quick one based on the sketch at Sketchy Thursday's, of some pics taken yesterday in the backyard.  Such a classic (I think we say that about Alexa's pics often!!).

So what is new...

Well, not much to report, really.  Last day of school for the term here, not sure if that is a good thing or not!!  We will see how the two terrors get along during their first real school holidays together...

Scrapping wise there hasn't been much exciting happening, have a list of April challenges printed but nothing really enthusing me at the moment.  Hopefully the arrival of a kit or two for the month may help.

This one is done using the March Nook kit and the March sketch at the Nook - just love how the papers match the colours on this photo perfectly!

Again using the March Nook kit, a nice simple interpretation of the sketch at Scrapbooking from Scratch.  Sometimes less is more, perhaps.
