Step by step layout using Bo Bunny Enchanted

This step by step is to complete the following layout:

Supplies needed:
Alphas of your choice

1. Firstly prepare the WOW chipboard frame to allow time for it to dry. I painted the frame with the black paint. Be a bit careful with this step as the frame is very ornate and you don't want to bend or break any of the pieces. Use a small paintbrush to make sure you get all those raw edges.

2. Allow to dry for a few minutes, then give a light spray with Pearl Glimmermist, just to add a bit of sparkle and shine to the frame. You can see in the background of these pics my "painting box" which is just an old pizza box, I use this to keep everywhere else {relatively}clean of paints or sprays.

3. Prepare the layout background by cutting a 4 1/2" piece from the top of the Romance paper. This will leave a 7 1/2" piece with the word Love is at the bottom. You could keep this piece of paper whole, but you can use the offcut on another layout if you trim it.  Cut a 5" piece from the Stripe paper, making sure the stripes are going vertically.

4. To join these pieces together, add some double sided tape to the top edge of the Romance paper. I then lined up the pieces on my cutting mat, and stuck down the Stripe paper making sure the completed base size is 12".

5. Adhere the white lace down along the join with strong glue as shown below.

6. Then adhere the black rosette trim over the bottom of the lace. You may need to hold this down for a short while to allow the glue to stick (you can see my little helper's hand on the right side!).  Do the same with the silver sequin trim along the top of the black rosettes.

7.  Prepare your photo by tracing around the oval shape from inside the frame. Trim the photo into the oval shape.

8. Stick the photo into the frame using a small amount of glue on the thin edge of the frame.  Use a double layer of foam tape on the top and bottom edges of the frame on the back, and strong double sided tape along the middle.  The two layers of double sided tape allows it to be high enough to stick over the layers of lace and trim.

9.  Stick down your frame on the left hand side, on top of the trim strip.

10. Fussy cut the desired shape from the Fairy Tales paper.

11. Put your title onto this piece with your chosen alphas.  Adhere this with foam tape on the right hand side of the layout, poking the bottom under the white lace.

And there you have it! A striking layout for your album, that is actually quite easy to create.
