Project Life with Lime Tart

The Full Tart over at Lime Tart just screamed Project Life to me, and I completed an insert for Week 33 to showcase some of the fantastic products that can be used in Project Life.

The girls requested a mini photoshoot the other Sunday, so who was I to argue! It was fairly sunny and therefore a little difficult to get good photos without a lot of shadows, but we had fun anyway.

Love the Kraft 3x4 punch outs that come in the Full Tart kit, they are ideal for simply slipping in a gorgeous photo and your pocket is done.

And the other side of my insert:

I am really happy with the way this insert has finished up, and it was a great way to make use of all the smaller odds and ends that are left after completing a 12x12 layout. Using up these bits on a Project Life spread means you get even more value out of the kit, as not even one tiny piece of paper/doiley/etc is left on the desk!

Project Life using patterned papers

The latest Project Life challenge at Stuck On U Sketches is to include three patterned papers on your page. This may not be that much of a challenge for some, but for those of us that like our Project Life fairly simple and full of photos, it can be a little more difficult.

I used the August Full Tart kit from Lime Tart for everything in this Project Life layout, and if you visit the gallery now or my blog later in the week you will be able to see even more!

August Scrap the Girls using some gorgeous Basic Grey

The August challenge at Scrap The Girls is a recipe challenge, which did prove somewhat a challenge for me - with masking and doodling in the list!

Here is my layout, using some of the gorgeous Basic Grey papers from the August A La Tarte kit from Lime Tart:

I masked the hearts and doodled some dots around them.

Kraft It Up with Lime Tart

Part of my Full Tart kit from Lime Tart featured some kraft cardstock and also some gorgeous bright, patterned papers so just perfect for the August challenge at Kraft It Up which is to create a layout featuring Kraft and use your own style. Not so difficult a challenge, this one! Here is my layout:

Yep, nice and simple, some straight lines, some stamping, some punched butterflies. Pretty much my own style, I would say!  And some close ups:

There are lots of fantastic examples of use of all the Lime Tart kits in the gallery, pop over and have a look.

I'll never forget...

This is the theme for the August challenge at Once Upon A...Sketch. I created a layout for this prompt using my gorgeous Full Tart kit from Lime Tart.

Here is my layout:

A close up of the journalling:

And the title using the gorgeous Month chipboard.

All the other layouts and cards are up now in the gallery at Lime Tart and looking amazing, so pop on over for a huge dose of inspiration!

Sketch #97 time at Sketchabilities

My time is nearly up at Sketchabilities - I just love Karan's sketches and plan to continue playing along when the next term begins. Sketch #97 is the latest reveal, this time sponsored by Quick Quotes Scrapbook Company. Here is my sample:

Based on this sketch:
This time I used one of the new stamp sets from Give A Girl A... called "Currently". I just love every single one of the stamp sets that Kellie designs, all perfect for layouts, cards and Project Life. Such great value for money as I find I sit them out on my desk all the time and use them on almost every single project.

Black and white

The current Mood Board challenge at Jot Magazine is to create a project using basically black and white or grey. This month's Half Tart at Lime Tart just happens to feature these colours, so what better way to christen it than with my entry:

Lime Tart washi ways

The Full Tart from Lime Tart featured two gorgeous rolls of washi tape. Today over at the Zest blog I am showing one of the ways I used washi in my layout "She brings joy". Here is my complete layout, and I would love if you pop over to the Zest blog to see some more.

I have only just discovered that my poor old neglected Cricut machine can be used with free software and I can design any type of cuts I like! Who knew!! I have used this technique to cut the circles and the heart from my white cardstock and then used some of the gorgeous products from the Full Tart to embellish it.

Project Life with Arrows

Such a simple challenge over at Stuck On U Sketches for the Project Life challenge this time - just include some arrows on your layout.  I think just about every week I would include at least one arrow, there are so many things to do with them.

Here is my week 30 left hand side, followed by the right hand side which is my example for this challenge:

Lime Tart anyone? Yes, please!

Super dooper super excited to announce I am a new designer at Lime Tart! Check out their gorgeous kits - such a great range and fantastic value for money (and yes, I am qualified to say this as I have used many, many of their kits before!!).

Can't wait to show off the August Full Tart, you can see a sneak of it here, but I also may have slipped the Half Tart into my pizza box as well as I couldn't resist those colours. Stay tuned for lots of this in my Project Life layouts soon - they look absolutely perfect for this.

Keep an eye on the Lime Tart Blog for the announcements of the other designers - wow, some talent amongst these girls (kinda a little intimidating, perhaps?!?)... but more exciting than anything.
