For the love of crafty storage.

Storage. Crafty storage at that. Does it get any better? Does anyone else spend just as much time re-organising, or planning the re-organising, or pinteresting the re-organising of your craft room as actually crafting? Or is that just me....

My favourite product at the moment anyway, is the Organisers in the CTMH range. There is a small, medium and large and they all have the same footprint so are completely stackable. So far, I only have two mediums, but have a large and a small winging their way to me as we speak.

Here is how I have used my medium containers:

I have put all my clear stamps in one. I just had to remove a couple of the dividers to make more room for the larger ones - and look - I still have room for some more smaller ones! This method makes it really quick and easy to flick through to find the perfect stamp. I have the stamps sorted by brand.

In my other container I have all my Project Life cards. The 3x4's are sorted by colour, and in order of filler cards then journalling cards. I don't use many 6x4's so at the moment they are all just lumped in together.

Here you can see how convenient they are to stack away.

I am planning on using my large container for thicker storage, and the small one for washi storage.

These containers are really cheap - only $20 for the small, $25 for the medium and $35 for the large (plus $9.50 freight for orders under $150). If you are in Australia you can order these direct from my website (and check out all the other great goodies too) right here.

Don't forget, if you order over $75 for April (be quick!!) you can get the Stamp Of The Month which is perfect for Project Life for just an extra $5!

More CTMH Skylark cards

The WOTG Skylark kit is actually called a "scrapbooking" kit and comes with instructions to make layouts.  However, it is far more versatile than that, and I have made some quick and easy cards to demonstrate.

A couple of CTMH Skylark cards

I have been having quite a play with my new package of CTMH goodies, and I just love the colours in the Skylark Workshop On The Go Scrapbooking Kit. The idea of the kit is to provide all the requirements to create two gorgeous double page layouts (with extras left over, of course) including instructions, but I have used the products in so many other ways, too.

Often when I make up cards I do two, or even more, of the same design. I find it doesn't take any longer to make two than one, and then you have a spare for your stash for those moments when you need a card in a hurry!

Kraft it up ... with CTMH!

I couldn't wait to have a play with my Close To My Heart (CTMH) goodies, so I joined in the April challenge at Kraft It Up and came up with this one:

I included layering, stamping, tearing, sequins and triangles.

The majority of items on my page came from the Workshops On The Go Skylarks kit which actually includes instructions for layouts, but I went my own way with this one!

I also used the Believe In Yourself stamp set for the corner stamps and the Picture Perfect stamp, a chevron embossing folder and scallop border punch.

Just some ideas that I used on this page, I fussy cut out the tag on the bottom right of the layout from one of the large pieces of patterned paper, it is a great embellishment for your layout and gives you a spot to pop on the details of the photo. I also cut off the edge strip of one of the papers and used it as one of my strip layers making great use of the whole of the paper! I also used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge to cut the photo border that I got for FREE for signing up to CTMH during April, for more details check here.

April Once Upon A...Sketch

The challenge for April at Once Upon A...Sketch is the theme "An event that changed my life". I thought I would go with an event that changed the girls' lives, well, the biggest adventure they have had so far anyway!

I have journalled on the back the exciting things we did - lots of them were "firsts" for the girls, like going on the plane, the theme parks, and even just little things like going out to restaurants etc.

Close To My Heart Australia (CTMH) Consultant

I am very excited to let you know that I am now an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart (CTMH). They are a company with a large range of crafty bits and pieces - mostly stamps and accessories but also many other bits that look just fantastic. I must admit I was drawn to them initially for their storage (ahh, storage) but when I saw the full catalogue I was hooked.

I also love that you can just purchase what you want, when you want, through the website and it is delivered to you. No stresses of hosting or attending a party. You still can hold a party, of course, or maybe an "online" gathering which sounds like heaps of fun.

Anyway, I am eagerly awaiting my kit to start playing. AND my FREE Cricut cartridge. Yep, free if you sign up in April - so if you are at all considering it now is definitely the time to check it out and you can come along for the CTMH ride with me. Contact me if you want some more details, or you can read more about it here.

If you want to take a look at the great range of products available, just go here.

I will be back soonest with some shares when I get my parcel!
